Lyon airport transfers to many ski resorts and mountain destinations. Les Deux Alpes (2 Alps) and Alpe d'Huez resorts are the closest to the airport which takes around two hours travelling time.
Cycling groups are welcome as we can transport bike boxes using a trailer. From Lyon airport is quite close to the many world class cycling routes in the Alps such as Col du Galibier and Alpe d'Huez.
Lyon - Saint Exupery Airport (LYS) is located next to a major motorway network on the outskirts of Lyon about thirty minutes drive to Lyon city centre. It is the third largest airport in France and offers many flights for business and tourists alike. Access is very good with a train station just a short walk away from the two terminals.
If you have a very early flight departure or late flight arrival you may want to stay in one of the hotels located within a short walk of the terminals and train station.
Most of the major airlines use this airport all year round such as British Airways, EasyJet, Flybe, Air France and KLM to name a few with more budget flights on offer for the Winter ski season.
