Châtel (altitude 1200m) is located in the Haute Savoie region of France between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc and is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area.

Châtel and Super Châtel offers 83km of pistes with the highest point at 2200m and is suitable for mixed skiing and boarding abilities. There is also access to 600km of marked pistes in the Portes du Soleil ski area.
