Chamonix (altitude 1035m) is located in the Haute-Savoie region in eastern France. The area offers incredible views of Mont Blanc (the highest mountain in Western Europe at 4809m) and is famous for its extreme mountain sports all year round.

The ski areas available are Brévent – Flégère, Balme - Vallorcine , des Grands Montets, Les Houches/Saint Gervais with a highest lift up to 3842m up the Aiguille du Midi.

Chamonix offers easy access to Italy and Switzerland.
