Montgenevre (Altitude 1850m) is located in the Cottian Alpes in the Hautes Alpes department of France which borders with Italy.

Montgenevre has 85km of slopes up to 2577m altitude and is the only French resort which is part of the Milky Way ski area offering a total of 400km of slopes where the other five resorts are located in Italy.

The other Italian resorts are called Pragelato Sauze d’Oulx, Claviere, Sestriere, Sansicario and Cesana.
