Annecy (Altitude 447m) is an Alpine town located in Haute-Savoie on the Northern tip of Lake Annecy.

It has an old and new town but the old town is the main attraction with its cobbled streets, winding canals and beautiful buildings. There is a medieval Château which is worth a visit but most of the tourists visit in the summer months to spend time around the beautiful lake where you can take a boat trip or just enjoy the mountain scenery.

There are many places to stay for your visit and the restaurants and cafes along the old canals are highly recommended to soak up the atmosphere.
